7NT looks like a good contract, and you would be unlucky to find clubs break 4-0. However, if clubs do break badly, and the lead is a diamond, you'll have no way of getting back to the heart suit after testing clubs. So, how do you make 7NT on a diamond lead? You have no other entry to dummy.

You can see that clubs are as feared, but you can still make the hand even on a diamond lead, if you make the most of your chances. Play the diamond king next and discard the heart ace. Now you can stay in dummy and play hearts. If the 10 appears, you will have enough tricks. if it doesn't, try the club suit.
